This site is a tribute to John Doherty, who was born in Bolton on January 13, 1954.

Dad had such a full life, and we would like to celebrate this by sharing photos, stories, memories... please feel free to contribute to the site as much as you like!

We want this to be a positive way to remember our amazing Dad/ son/ grandad/ family member/ friend... who devastatingly, had his life cut far too short by prostate cancer. Dad would have wanted something positive to come from the pain he (and we) have been through in the past three and a half years as he fought the disease as bravely as he did. Dad's cancer was diagnosed in 2012, too late to be curable, but he had some great treatments along the way to slow it's spread, and we hope that the donations in Dad's memory will go towards continuing to improve treatments for others. Importantly, we would also like to raise awareness of prostate cancer... an early diagnosis can make the world of difference. 

JD... Dad... John... loved by so many, you will never be forgotten.
